Pini Zahavi's message: "Bayern Munich is the past for Lewandowski"

Robert Lewandowski has decided to leave Bayern Munich this summer. 

His agent Pini Zahavi on Sunday made it clear that he is working hard to make the striker's wish come to fruition. 

The option to move to Barcelona is the one that most seduces and he Zahavi will do what he can to make the transfer happen. 

Lewandowski has a contract at Bayern until 2023 but does not want to renew and hopes the German side will let him leave.  

"For Robert, Bayern is the past," Zahavi told Bild on Sunday. "Robert has the chance to play for the team he has always dreamed of. 

"Why are Bayern taking that chance away from him? The club have not made any renewal offer."

Xavi confirmed on Saturday that Lewandowski is an "option" for Barcelona as they work on strengthening their attack this summer.
