The Gabon international is hoping for a return this summer

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's hope of playing again for Barça grows. The striker is certain to leave Chelsea in June and the player's entourage are already aware that the Blaugrana will go for him if a series of conditions are met, according to SkySports. The striker is the 'low-cost' option that Barça could consider to reinforce their forward line if Brazilian Vitor Roque cannot sign.

According to reports in England, Aubameyang has asked to return to Barça. He already did so in the last January transfer window but regulations prevented him from being registered. The striker refused to leave for MLS because he wants to stay in Europe and his clear priority is to return to Camp Nou. If Barça do bid for him, he will try to force things so that he can leave on a free transfer or on loan, and he would adjust his wage bill in order to have space within the Blaugrana's salary limit.

Chelsea, who invested around 12 million euros in his signing last summer, are keen to make a profit on a sale. In Italy, Milan and Inter have sounded him out but the player for now is closed to other ideas and only wants to play for Barça. If his attitude continues like this, Chelsea will have no choice but to let him leave for Barcelona to save his very high salary.
