Philippe Coutinho will have surgery again in Brazil
The Barcelona record signing has not played since December last year
According to Brazilian outlet Globoesporte, Barcelona’s record signing Philippe Coutinho will take surgery again on Monday. The player, who travelled to Brazil with Barcelona’s permission to take a series of medical tests, cannot avoid a new operation to help deal with his knee injury.
Per the media source, he will take arthroscopy in his left knee to solve the meniscus problem in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
The player has not featured since December 29 and was operated on for the first time on Jan 2 this year. It was expected he would return in April but now his recovery will be set back.
