After a complicated last few months at Barça, Philippe Coutinho doesn't want to look too far into the future. "A lot of things can happen in football," the midfielder said when asked what comes next after his loan move to Bayern. "I'm happy to be in Munich and want to have a great year."
Speaking after Brazil's loss to Peru, Coutinho admitted that his former coach - Jurgen Klopp - influenced his decision to move to Germany. "He sent me a message wishing me luck. He told me that Bayern were a great club and that the Bundesliga would be happy to have me. He's a great coach, one of the best in the world. I learnt a lot from him, especially the mental side of things, and it was an honour to work under him."
