Christophe Galtier believes the price of the Barca target will only keep rising up and up

Nicolas Pépé is having a fantastic season at Lille. Many big sides, including Barcelona are interested in signing him for next season.

His current coach, Christophe Galtier, knows that he will not be able to keep Pepe for long. He has 18 goals and 11 assists this season in all competitions.

"The price of Pepe? I don't know, I'm not a transfer specialist, but if he keeps adding to his stats from here until the end of the season, it's clear that week after week his price will rise. But to pick a number is very tough," said Galtier on RMC Sport.

The Lille president has already revealed that Pepe would cost somewhere from 50m to 80m. He is the third top goalscorer in France, tied with Edinson Cavani on 17 goals in Ligue 1.

Lille are almost guaranteed a Champions League place for next season so a big Pepe haul would help them reinforce in multiple areas. He only cost 10m from SCO Angers.
