The Man City coach and Barcelona's president joked at a press conference on Monday
Barcelona will face Man City on August 24, in a charity friendly, with the objective of helping the fight against ELA. Joan Laporta explained as much in a press conference on Monday along with Pep Guardiola and Juan Carlos Unzue, the latter of whom has the disease.
“A Barcelona vs Man City is no friendly,” said Laporta. “We beat Real Madrid 4-0 and now we want to beat the Premier League champions. There are friends in the opponents’s side but we want to win.”
Joan Laporta joked about Barcelona’s interest in Bernardo Silva. He asked Guardiola if they would “bring everyone including Bernardo Silva”, and Pep said “we will play with Bernardo Silva and 10 others. We’ll bring them all.”
