The former Barcelona winger's contract soon expires and his future is unwritten

Pedro’s future at Chelsea hangs by a thread and he could be in his final days in London. He’s been linked with Real Betis and a return to Spanish football, while Roma have asked after him too. Barca are keeping abreast of the situation in case they pounce to get him back after he left in 2015.

The player spoke on Cadena SER about the coronavirus and his status.

“The coronavirus situation affects everything, so in this moment I have to talk to the club. I know that I have a contract until June 30, but we have not sat down to discuss if I will renew or not. I’m waiting for the meeting but open to other offers too. The priority is to compete my contract, then lets see what happens.”

On the possible return of competition, Pedro commented that for now players “are training at home with what we can, guided by the club, but waiting for more information to see if we can train in the facilities.”
