Pedri: Ousmane Dembele is a crazily good player

At just 19, Pedri is a key player and voice at Barcelona. The Canarian is essential at club level and international level too. The present and the future are his.
In an interview with La Vanguardia, Pedri recognised that Xavi “is a coach who transmits us security in every moment because he knows well what he wants to do with the team and the players, we are understanding it perfectly.
“We know that we have to to control the game through possession and that’s what he wants the most.”
On the 4-0 win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, Pedri said: “I’ll never forget the way we played, we went really wanting to do well and we left very happy because it went how we wanted, but we were not expecting this result.”
Asked about Ousmane Dembele, the Canarian said: “I have a very good relationship with him and he’s a crazily good player, he’s surprised me a lot. You don’t know if he’ll go by on the left or the right, he goes where he wants and it’s amazing to have him.”
On his future, Pedri said: “Sometimes I joke with him about it but it’s a decision that he has to take.”
On Messi, he added: “With Leo I had a great time with him on the pitch and off it he’s a magnificent person who I hope can come back.
“I always watch his games because you can learn a lot watching the best player in the world, but it’s true when things don’t go for him, like a friend that I consider him, well it hurts a bit.”
