Pedri gets his medical clearance after missing end of last season
The Canarian midfielder will be able to play in the friendly against Olot
Barcelona midfielder Pedri Gonzalez has been given the nod to play again. The youngster finished the season with an injury and so has not played since April.
However he’s part of Xavi’s first squad of the season, for the short trip north to face Olot on Wednesday at 7pm CET.
It’s exciting news for Barcelona fans, who didn’t get to see nearly enough of the Canarian last term. Pedri has been training for a few weeks and has the OK from the medics now.
His last match was the Eintracht Frankfurt defeat on April 14, with his last league game coming four days before that, against Levante.
