Pedri and Jordi Alba hand Barcelona boost ahead of Benfica match this week

The duo were both back in full training on Monday after two weeks out of action

Jordi Albi and Pedri were the surprise faces in Barcelone training on Monday as the team prepared for Wednesday's Champions League game against Benfica.

Both players, who missed Sunday's 3-0 win over Levante, trained with their teammates and hope to be available for Benfica this week.

Pedri and Alba are both in the final phases of their recovery after getting injured against Bayern Munich and missing the games against Granada, Cadiz and Levante.

It's good news for coach Ronald Koeman, who could now have a selection problem following the performances of Nico and Gavi in midfield against Levante, with Frenkie de Jong also set to return from a suspension.

Barça are still without Ousmane Dembele, Sergio Aguero and Martin Braithwaite through injury.
