The midfielder has turned down the chance to extend his contract in Paris

Adrien Rabiot is having a tough time at Paris Saint-Germain. The French player began the season as a regular in the side. But after negotiations over a new deal between the club and the midfielder broke down, things have changed drastically.

So much so that Paris United have reported that, under instructions from sporting director Antero Henrique, PSG coach Thomas Tuchel has banned him from being in the dressing room on match days. It's a radical measure which highlights the current situation. Even more so when you keep in mind that Rabiot's out of contract in June.

PSG know that he can therefore leave in the summer and after he turned down several renewal offers the club have turned on him. It's not been ruled out that they try and force him out in January for a small fee.

That's what the club's ostracism of Rabiot seems to be looking for: force the player to look for an exit now and bring in a small transfer fee which at least leaves some money in the club's bank.
