Paris Saint-Germain offer €70 million for Man City's Bernardo Silva

Bernardo's keen on a move to Barça but the Catalans don't have the salary space yet

Negotiations to bring Bernardo Silva to Barcelona have become a little more complicated. The Manchester City midfielder is Barça's dream midfielder signings this summer but salary space and moves for full-backs Marcos Alonso and Juan Foyth is delaying any business.

To fit all three signings into the club's salary limit, Barça need to move on Sergiño Dest, Memphis Depay and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Manchester United, Juventus and Chelsea are interested in each of them, respectively, while it looks like Frenkie de Jong will continue in the squad.

But the operations are not close to being finalised. Especially painful would be the exit of Aubameyang, who does not want to leave. Xavi wants him to stay as well.

As Barça work on exits, PSG have stepped in for Bernardo. Per The Times, they have offered €70m for the midfielder.

The offer is still short of the €100m City want, but PSG have taken the first step. Barça planned to present a bid in the coming days, if they can move players on. They have already worked on personal terms with Bernardo's camp.

Bernardo's intention is still to move to Camp Nou, but PSG's emergence is another obstacle to negotiations with City.
