Paco Alcacer feeling the pressure as his wait for Barça goal drags on

In 10 appearances for the club the striker has still not managed to find the back of the net

FC Barcelona forward Paco Alcacer cut an image of despondency as he left the Rico Perez stadium in Alicante on Wednesday. Away from the draw against third-tier Hercules, the Valencian player is beginning to suffer due to a difficult personal situation.

Alcacer has now played 10 times for Barça, five of thems from the beginning, but he has been incapable of breaking his duck and scoring his first goal for the club. Even including games he played for Valencia before joining Barça, he is yet to score this season.

On Wednesday, against a side from Segunda B, it was beginning to affect the player, who was the only player to leave the ground without signing an autograph. His eyes were fixed on the follow and looked very serious.

"I have to isolate myself from what the journalists are saying because they say good and bad things and things can get in your head which aren't true either way," he said during a bried stop on the mixed zone.

However, his words have nothing to do with his mood. Just a few days ago, Luis Enrique exploded in a press conference when asked about the striker's adapation.

Last season, Alcacer scored 15 goals (13 in La Liga and two in the Copa), while his numbers this season are a long way short of that...
