He wasn’t in the photo of Barcelona’s new signings, because he will be registered with the B team, but Pablo Torre’s arrival is also exciting for fans and they will see him in the team at times this season. There is a lot of hope for the young playmaker.
Xavi let him start against Olot, where he impressed, and he got minutes on the US tour too, but there are a lot of midfielders so he is behind them in the pecking order while he adapts.
He is one of four Barca Atletic players called up to the squad for the Gamper, along with Arnau Tenas, Alex Balde and Ez Abde.
Xavi will try and find some minutes for Torre, whom he called personally to get him to reject Real Madrid’s offer and sign for Barcelona.
