The midfielder is ready to start the next chapter of his career

He joins Barça following a standout season with Racing Santander

Pablo Torre will sign his Barcelona contract at Camp Nou on Wednesday, linking him to the club for the next four years with a €100 million release clause.

There will be no media presence at his presentation, as was the case with Sergi Roberto's renewal last week as well, and the club will release photographs and quotes after the event.

Barça president Joan Laporta has fixed his agenda to be present at an event that is getting first team treatment, even though the signing was announced by Barça B in March.

Laporta will be in Geneva on Tuesday to present an agreement between Barça and ACNUR to provide aid for refugees and will return in time for the presentation of Torre.

Torre, who joins from Racing Santander, and his family were only told of the event themselves on Monday. Luckily he was already in Barcelona, looking for a place to live next season.
