Ousmane Dembele's medical report after hamstring injury
Barca say that he has suffered an elongation in his hamstring and will be out
FC Barcelona have published a medical statement confirming that Ousmane Dembele has an injury in his right hamstring, and his return to training will depend on how it develops.
He appeared from the bench against Cadiz. In theory Dembele's injury should only last around 10 days but given his history with these problems, the medical department aren't taking chances and he might be back in a fortnight. Dembele has been in good form this season and with Ansu Fati also out, he is needed to give width.
Dembele has played well so far under Ronald Koeman. His contract expires in 2022 and Barca are trying to get him to sign a new deal so he doesn't walk away for free then.
