The French winger was not feeling well and is being tested ahead of the clash with Mallorca

The bad news keeps coming for Xavi Hernandez. Four Covid cases (Alba, Lenglet, Balde and Alves) and another absence that we found out about this Tuesday. Ousmane Dembele has not trained after telling the club he ‘doesn’t feel very well’. He’s pure dynamite and a difference maker for the coach in attack. Barcelona are testing him but it doesn’t look good for Sunday’s game against Real Mallorca.

There’s no Memphis, no Ansu, no Pedri, (although he did train), no Jordi Alba, no Busquets, and no Gavi. Xavi will go with a thin squad to pick from and the likes of Riqui Puig, Coutinho and Umtiti as well as the youngsters could feature.

Real Mallorca are also plagued by the virus and we’ll see how the game pans out.
