Ousmane Dembele will miss the Clasico after ref insult
The competition committee confirmed the Frenchman will not be allowed to play
It's official Ousmane Dembele will miss the Camp Nou Clasico. The competition committee handed him a two game ban after he was sent off by Mateu Lahoz last weekend against Sevilla.
Dembele told the referee: "Very bad, you are very bad," and was shown his marching orders in Barca's 4-0 win.
The committee handed him the minimum two game ban which sees him out for the clash at Eibar then the Clasico against Real Madrid.
He can play, obviously, in the Champions League match at Sparta Prague in between.
Meanwhile defender Ronald Araujo has been suspended for one game after he was dismissed - wrongly - for a foul on Chicharito.
