Ousmane Dembele trains amid speculation over his future
The winger was frozen out of the squad to face Athletic in the Copa del Rey
Barcelona trained on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s clash with Alaves, including winger Ousmane Dembele, who has been in the headlines this week.
The Catalans were without Sergi Roberto, Eric Garcia, Umtiti, Memphis Depay and Ansu Fati who are injured, the latter of whom came off in the last game with a knee injury.
The Catalan team are two points off the Champions League positions and need to win after their draw in La Liga with Granada last time out. They have gone five games without defeat in the league, however.
It’s unknown whether Dembele will feature against Alaves given Barcelona left him out against Athletic in the cup and have told him to leave.
