Ousmane Dembele: Silence and holiday in paradise
The French winger can leave for any club he likes at the end of the month for free
Ousmane Dembele’s future is on the line. We don’t know where he will be next season. But we do know what he is doing right now. He’s on holiday. The French forward posted pictures on his social networks of him cycling and walking in a luxurious resort.
Dembele’s deal at Barcelona is up on June 30 and after that he can leave for free, with Chelsea best placed to sign him.
Joan Laporta said that he has not responded to the club’s contract offer. “He’s had an offer from us on the table for a while but he hasn’t accepted it because we have not had news from his agent for a while,” said the chief.
Dembele, who signed for Barcelona in August 2017 for 105m euros plus variables, has not reached his potential with the club.
