Ousmane Dembele is injured!
Barça have confirmed that Dembele has a hamstring injury and is facing five weeks out
FC Barcelona's terrible luck with injuries this season shows no sign of slowing down. After Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez were ruled out with calf injuries, Ousmane Dembele is the next one set to spend time in the treatement room. Like the rest of the team, he was given two days off following the defeat to Athletic Club. Despite finishing the session, the club has since confirmed the winger's injury.
"A medical examination on Ousmane Dembélé has diagnosed a strain of his left hamstring. The Frenchman is set to be out for approximately five weeks as a result."
It's yet another setback for Ernesto Valverde who is losing his race to have Messi fit for the match against Real Betis. From the original set of attacking options, the only one left standing is new signing Antoine Griezmann. It could open the door for Carles Perez to establish himself in the first team.
