Ousmane Dembélé expected to start for France against Denmark in the UEFA Nations League

The French winger is in perfect health and will be fit for Sunday's game against Denmark.

The first day of international duty presented FC Barcelona with a lot of injuries.

Memphis Depay and Jules Koundé had to be substituted in their respective matches with the Netherlands and France.

And this Thursday the worst omens have been confirmed. Both had to leave the training camp. Jules is in a more delicate situation, with a possible muscle rupture.

De Jong was substituted at half-time due to muscular discomfort.

Ousmane Dembélé appears to be fine despite initial reports of calf problems. The Frenchman came on in the 78th minute against Austria and was very active. He combined dangerously with Mbappé on a couple of occasions and should start against Denmark on Sunday.

He also ended the game against Bayern with a sore calf, but he's feeling great. Despite a busy start to the season in which he is playing two games a week on average.

Les Bleus needed a win against Austria to climb up the UEFA Nations League Group 1 table and avoid relegation. The Danish team will be in Copenhagen for a big game on Sunday. Ousmane Dembélé will be there, with his sights set on the trip to Mallorca next Saturday.

Hungrier than ever.
