The French forward has not accepted Barcelona's offer, while Chelsea and PSG are looking at other options

Ousmane Dembele is the protagonist in one of the more curious stories in the football world. The Frenchman has a week to go before his contract runs out and doesn’t know where he will bet laying next season. He’ll be a free agent from July 1.

The player has not responded to the offer Barcelona made him weeks ago. The Catalans aren’t moving from that position. They are looking at Raphinha and Angel di Maria.

For his part, Dembele has offers from PSG and Chelsea. The Blues are surprised by his demands, to be a starter and high wages, and they are looking at Raheem Sterling instead.

Meanwhile, new PSG sporting director Luis Campos is not keen on his signing. The Parisians are moving for Christophe Galtier and have renewed Kylian Mbappe’s deal, while also boasting Messi and Neymar.

So Dembele will have to wait for new offers or re-think his Barcelona snub. The Catalans have left the deal on the table, knowing it’s possible that Dembele and his agent could have a change of heart.
