Oriol Busquets is on loan at Twente in the Eredivisie but is hopeful of returning to Barcelona and earning a place in the first team.
Busquets has done well in Holland, although he's played a central defender more than a midfielder, and now he wants the chance to prove his worth to Barça coach Quique Setien.
"My dream is to return to Barça and do preseason with the first time," he told SER Catalunya. "Or whatever I have to do and demonstrate that I can go back. My desire is to stay with the first team.
The youngster wants to show that he's worth a spot "in the first team" and he doesn't mind where he plays on the pitch: "If it's to play for Barça, I don't mind if it's in the middle or at the back."
Busquets, 21, has played 23 games in the Netherlands, 21 in the league and two in the cup. In total, he has accumulated 1,855 minutes and set up one goal.
On the coronavirus lockdown in Holland, he added: "There are not many restrictions here, we can use the club's facilities. We have to go in twos and they regulate us a little in terms of what we can and can't do, but there are fewer restrictions here."
