Optimism over Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo

Optimism over Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo

The duo could yet play a part against PSG on Tuesday in the UCL

There are only a couple of days left before the return of the Champions League. Ronald Koeman is still not sure of his starting line up for the match with PSG. In defence, a lot depends on the fitness of his centre backs. Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo both trained on Sunday after injury.

The Uruguayan sprained his left ankle and he is almost over it. He definitely has a chance of playing against PSG on Tuesday.

Koeman has not ruled either player out of featuring in the last 16 clash and we will see how they continue to recover in the coming two days.

Jordi Alba seems the only set player in the back line, with Umtiti, Lenglet, Mingueza and Dest all fit but not certain of playing.
