Onda Cero: Valverde looking for a house in Valencia
The former Barca coach could take over from Celades at the end of the season
The situation at Valencia is increasingly unsustainable. Celades's relation with the squad is broken and in the last few days that has got worse and worse. Results aren't with them either and the Andorran seems set to leave at the end of the season despite having another year on his contract.
Per Onda Cero, Ernesto Valverde is looking for a flat in Valencia for if he is chosen to taken over from Celades.
The former Barcelona boss was contacted by Valencia's present among other coaches and would be one of the top options. The same source says Jon Aspiazu, Valverde's No 2, has made calls to find out about the club's internal situation.
Valverde coached Valencia in the 2012-13 season so it would be his second era there, at a club which has not found stability since Marcelino's time.
The change would happen at the end of the season but if the team keep suffering, then it could even happen sooner.
