Following Eric Abidal's departure, Planes is now in charge of all the technical secretary decisions
Aside from Ronald Koeman being named as FC Barcelona's new head coach, there's been another change at the club today. Ramon Planes has been confirmed as Barça's new technical secretary following the departure of Eric Abidal from the club. He's now fully in charge of all operations at that level.
Planes will work alongside Koeman as they decide who will stay and who will leave this summer. He's already taken charge of the negotiations to bring Eric Garcia back to the club from Manchester City.
