Official: Memphis Depay completes transfer from Barça to Atletico Madrid
The Dutchman has signed a deal until 2025 with Atletico
Barcelona have confirmed the transfer of Memphis Depay to Atletico Madrid in a deal that could be worth €4 million.
The Catalan club have also acquired an option to sign Yannick Carrasco in the summer.
Memphis, 28, was out of contract at the end of the season and had told Barça of his desire to find a new club this month.
The Dutch forward has signed a contract with Atletico until 2025.
"FC Barcelona and Club Atlético Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Memphis Depay for the fee of 3 million euros plus one million in variables," the Blaugrana announced Friday.
"The agreement includes a preferential but not compulsory purchase option for the player Yannick Carrasco.
"FC Barcelona would like to publicly thank Memphis for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future."
