Official: LaLiga Clasico confirmed for Sunday March 19 at Camp Nou

It's official. The next LaLiga Clásico will be played on Sunday 19 March at 9pm at Spotifiy Camp Nou. LaLiga have confirmed the schedules of the 26th matchday of the championship, which includes a match that could go some way towards deciding the title.

Barcelona are currently five points ahead of Real Madrid before Sunday's game against Cádiz.

The Clásico on 19 March will be the second of three that both teams will face in the coming weeks, as Barça and Madrid will also meet in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

The first leg will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu on 2 March at 9pm. The outcome of the tie will have to wait a month, as the second leg, at Spotify Camp Nou, will not be played until 5 April at 10pm.

After Real Madrid's hard-fought win in Pamplona on Sunday, Barça are five points clear of Los Blancos in LaLiga, although they have the chance to return to an eight-point cushion with a win at home to Cadiz.

If the advantage between the two sides is maintained until 19 March, Xavi's side will have a golden opportunity on that day to make a near-definitive blow to LaLiga. For that game, Barça will be hoping to get back the injured duo of Pedri and Dembélé
