Official: Barcelona play 2023-24 season at Montjuic Olympic Stadium

The Espai Barça project has the green light and Barcelona will play the 2023-24 season at Montjuic in the Olympic Stadium. The club and council confirmed it in a press conference on Tuesday.
“Barcelona will plat the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium in the 2023-24 season while the work is being done on Espai Barça,” explained Laporta.
The club will stat work on the new Camp Nou during this season but it will not stop the team playing their home matches there.
However for next season they will have to move to Montjuic, and a 55,000 seater stadium in place of the 98,000 home they have.
“Barcelona have committed to bringing the Olympic facilities up to date and modernise services and spaces like the press box, dressing room and internal parking,” added Laporta.
