The stopper still has a knee problem and won't be in the squad this weekend

Barcelona have confirmed that goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen will miss Saturday's Copa del Rey final against Valencia at the Benito Villamarín.

The club released a statement on Wednesday confirming that the German still has a knee problem and will continue to seek treatment for the injury.

The news doesn't change Ernesdto Valverde's plans, given that Dutch stopper Jasper Cillessen is the regular stopper in the Copa -- although he did miss both legs of the semifinal win over Real Madrid with an injury.

However, Cillessen was also set to return for the final, even though he is expected to leave the Cataland this summer in search of more minutes elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Luis Suarez is also out of the final, while Ousmane Dembele is unlikely to make it. Arthur Melo and Philippe Coutinho have both returned to training this week, though.
