Barça continue to work on the summer transfer market, focusing not only on bringing in new players but also on releasing those who are not essential. Raphinha, a player whose continuity has been in doubt, could be the next to board the gravy train of Saudi football.
According to journalist Achraf Ben Ayad, the Catalan giants have received a firm offer for the Brazilian winger. The first details of the offer, reported by Nicolo Schira, point to a Saudi Arabian team. The contract would be for three seasons and Raphinha would receive around 20 million net per season. The information does not include the transfer fee that the Arabian club would have to pay FC Barcelona to acquire the services of the Brazilian international.
Raphinha, however, has already made it clear that he intends to stay at the club next season and has no intention of leaving. "Of course I'm going to stay at Barcelona. Next season and the next, and the next, and the next, I have many years on my contract and I hope to fulfil those years and many others," he said just three weeks ago in statements to the magazine 'Club del deportista'.
