The Argentine forward is back in town for a few days

Leo Messi's arrival in the city of Barcelona this past Saturday once again set off all alarms about a possible approach for his return to Barça. The Argentinian landed with his family and his closest entourage loaded with suitcases to take advantage of his days off at the house he still has in Castelldefels.

But nothing could be further from the truth. As SPORT has been able to know, Messi and Barça have no intention of meeting or even of attempting any rapprochement these days. Several reports have suggested that the player has returned to Barcelona to discuss his future, but his intentions don't go beyond spending those days with his family.

In the same way that he has done during these two years in Paris, the Argentinian is taking advantage of the days off that the PSG squad has to spend at his home in Castelldefels. The Parisian team played last Friday and will have a holiday until Wednesday, when they will get back to work to face this final stretch of the season, with their sights set on the only objective at stake; winning Ligue 1.

So, Messi is taking the opportunity to rest at home and although the end of the season is approaching and with it the end of his contract with PSG, Barça and Messi are still giving themselves a few days before evaluating his return.
