The French club demanded €100m plus Coutinho and Semedo but Barça say the full back isn't for sale

The first official meeting between PSG and FC Barcelona in Paris has ended without an agreement in place for Neymar's transfer back to the Camp Nou.

According to SPORT's sources, both sides are miles apart in their proposals. PSG have asked for €100m plus Philippe Coutinho and Nelson Semedo. Barça responded by offering Coutinho but alongside Ivan Rakitic instead as they don't want to lose the Portuguese full-back. The other option for Barça was a season-long loan with an obligation to make it permanent next summer.

Those close to the situation claim these initial talks are common, especially when talking about high-profile transfers. It's entirely possible that one of the two sides will change their demands as everyone wants this situation resolved as soon as possible.

Javier Bordas, Eric Abidal and Andre Cury all remain in Paris.

Whilst the world is talking about his potential return to Barcelona, Neymar is currently in the Algarve as he awaits developments.
