The Barcelona midfielder made his debut under the Dutch coach this season
Nico Gonzalez has broken the silence after Ronald Koeman’s sacking.
“Thanks for everything, coach,” he wrote on Instagram. “You’ll always be in my memory as you were the coach who made my dream of debuting for the first team come true. Good luck in the future.”
The 19 year old midfielder was given 474 minutes by Ronald Koeman, either as pivot or interior in midfield. He has performed well generally and wanted to thank the coach for giving him the chance.
