Nice midfielder Seri is close to signing for Barcelona
The player has said yes and Barça are prepared to pay his clause
If there's no agreement with Nice, that clause will cost them 40 million
Jean Michael Seri will be Barcelona's next signing. The operation is close to being closed and the player has given his OK to a four-year deal.
Barça are trying to release the clause he's agreed with Nice (40 million euros), but in the case that there is no agreement, they will pay the full amount next week. The club and Ernesto Valverde have already taken the decision.
There's a lot of concern at Barça about the performances in midfield last season. And that evaluation increased with the defeats against Real Madrid in the Super Cup.
Therefore, the Catalan club decided to go for both Paulinho and Seri, with the Brazilian already signed and the Ivorian set to follow soon.
