Neymar's father assures there will be an agreement with Barça sooner or later
The player is in dispute with his former club over an unpaid renewal bonus
Neymar's father has said that "sooner or later there will be an agreement with Barcelona" as the dispute over money owed continues to rumble on.
El Mundo reported on Thursday that the Brazilian is -- in addition to fighting for san unpaid signing bonus -- asking for a €3.5 million. pay off. Neymar Sr. says that's not new news, but part of the original claim.
"It's an amount that responds to the settlement, from when he left," Neymar Sr. explained to Cadena Ser. "It's the last month. It's from the past, but I'm sure there will be an agreement between Neymar and Barcelona. We're not reporting anything (new). It's from the past.
"This is taking a long time, courts are not quick, but it's normal. I am sure Barça are not worried, nor are we. We're working on solving things. I didn't know this news had come out, it's someone that wants to create controversy."
