Neymar will not make his sister's birthday party in Brazil this year
Circumstances dictate he won't make it back to his homeland as he had done in recent seasons
Neymar will miss his sister Rafaella Beckran's birthday party this year. On Mar. 11 she will turn 21. Remember that he's always made here previous parties, returning to Brazil with Barcelona's permission.
In 2014-15, Neymar picked up his fifth booking of the season against Granada on Feb. 28, which meant he was suspended for the game against Rayo Vallecano at Camp Nou on Mar. 8. The club gave him permission to travel to Brazil, given it wasn't until Mar. 14 that he would have another match.
One year later, he was curiosuly suspended again. Picking up his fifth booking against Rayo on Mar. 3, he missed the game against Eibar three days later. Therefore, Luis Enrique allowed him to travel to Sao Paulo to see his sister and celebrate her birthday. He was back in Spain for the game with Getafe at Camp Nou on Mar. 12.
However, this time things are different. Firstly, because he's arrived at this stage of the season 'clean' as he has already been banned for picking up five yellow cards several weeks ago. And secondly because the game against PSG on Mar. 8 is his main focus.
