Neymar: Relax, I'm going to renew my Barça contract - talks have started

Neymar Jr. is clear that he will continue at FC Barcelona for many more years. And, after scoring four goals against Rayo Vallecano, the Brazilian forward told beIN SPORTS as much: "The renewal is under way. I still have years left on my contract. I'm going to sign. The fans can relax."

On his goal haul against Rayo, which took him to the top of the La Liga scoring charts, he pointed to the work of all the team: "Yes, it was an historic night which I am going to savour for all my life. I want to congratulate the team for producing a great performance."

Asked about his role as a leader while Lionel Messi is injured, he added: "We are all leaders in on the pitch. Each one of us does out work and has our way of playing. We are all very important on the pitch and together we make a strong group."

To finish, Neymar declared that he would rather not speak about Santos, who are unhappy with the way he left the club and have asked FIFA to investigate the transfer. "I don't want to talk [about that]. It's the past for me, of course I am sad, but I don't want to talk," he said.
