Maximum tension surrounding Neymar's future following Real Madrid's move for the Paris Saint-Germain man. The Brazilian has always expressed a desire to return to Barcelona and will wait for the Catalan club, although he's now warned them that he's in negotiations with Los Blancos, sources close to the talks have confirmed to SPORT.

Neymar wants to clear his future up this week and his priority is a Camp Nou return, but with Philippe Coutinho still at the club, it's not straightforward.

Madrid have been talking with his entourage for days and are ready to take on his salary demands over the next five years. Neymar was ready to take a hit to his wages to move to Barça but has got nervous as Barça and PSG have failed to reach an agreement.

The French club have done all they can to put the brakes on a return to Barça and have rejected all advances.

Neymar's people believe a return will be unlikely if Coutinho doesn't leave. Neymar will wait for Barcelona this week and will then make a decision. His main desire is to leave Paris, whatever it takes.

Barça, as Pique said, feel negotiations can only bee moved on if Neymar expresses in public his desire to return to Camp Nou. That would rule out a Real Madrid move and oblige PSG to negotiate with them for their wantaway star.
