The Brazilian is out of contract in 2022 and hasn't signed new terms yet

While Europe's best clubs fight for Erling Haaland, Barcelona included, Neymar's name is back on the table. The Brazilian has frozen talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a new contract and has Barça on his mind again, according to Diari ARA. The forward, who seemed set to extend his terms in Paris a few months ago, has not ruled out returning to Camp Nou and making reversing the move he made in 2017.

Per ARA, Neymar believes Lionel Messi will stay at Barcelona and still wants to play with the Argentine again. Therefore, if he does, it will have to be in Blaugrana, with the belief that Messi's chances of staying at the club are high. The Brazilian has already made it public that he wants to play with Messi again. The two had a good relationship on and off the pitch when they both played for Barça.

Neymar's contract with PSG expires in 2022. PSG want to extend his contract to avoid the possibility of losing him for free next summer. In that context, Barça¡s new board would have to decide if they want to try and re-sign a player that has never been happy since he left four years ago.
