Neymar: Barcelona will always be in my heart
The Brazilian said nice things about his former club at The Best gala in London
The PSG player was one of the three finalists for the player of the year award
Neymar Jr was one of the protagonists of the FIFA Ballon d'Or gala. The Brazilian spoke to the media on the red carpet outside the theatre and MEGA recorded him speaking about his former club Barcelona.
The player said "I'm very happy with my new club and my new team-mates," refereeing to PSG, "But Barcelona will always be in my heart, they will always be in my memory because I had some very sweet moments there."
Neymar was pleased to be competing for the best player award at The Best. "It's a great honour and I am very happy to be here and to be nominated with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo who are two football idols."
Neymar moved to PSG from Barca for 222m euros, a world record fee, in August.
