After paying his 222 million euro release clause at Barcelona's offices on Thursday and being announced as a Paris Saint-Germain player for the next five seasons, Neymar flew to Paris on a private plane on Friday morning.
Neymar headed to the private terminal at El Prat airport with his entourage and, shortly after 9am, took off for his new home. He was received in the French capital like a king, where, around 1.30pm, he is set to be presented as the most expensive player in the history of football.
Upon his arrival in Paris, Neymar was welcomed by his compatriot and former teammate Maxwell, who now works for the Paris club. For now, Neymar is staying in the luxury Le Royal Monceau hotel, with his presentation taking place at the Parc des Princes.
