The Catalan club need Messi to hold on for one more week to get news on their Viability Plan

FC Barcelona need time before Leo Messi decides his future. According to what SPORT have been able to find out, the Catalan giants are asking the PSG forward to freeze his agenda until next Tuesday, when Barça could have the green light for their Viability Plan from LaLiga.

LaLiga, barring any delays, will have to decide at the beginning of next week if the Viability Plan presented by Barcelona is valid or not and will allow them to carry out the market operations they have planned, among them the signing of Messi.

Barça are therefore hoping for this gesture from the World Cup iwinner. It would be, more or less, a week's credit. This is the time they believes they need to get the green light for the Viability Plan.

As well as tackling the signing of Messi, Barça have other fronts open in the upcoming summer window and the Viability Plan envisages more key operations to strengthen a team that this season has been proclaimed league champions.

The Barça board of directors, after the team won the double (league and Super Cup) has committed to carrying out all of the coach's requests to strengthen the team. And, among them, in addition to a replacement for Busquets, they hope for the return of Messi.
