New signings Pedri & Trincao arrive in Barcelona next week to train

The youngsters will be at the club's training ground from Aug. 12 onwards

The new Barcelona signings will begin their careers at the Catalan club next week. Both Pedri and Francisco Trincao will be at the training ground from Aug. 12 to start the next chapters in their careers.

Pedri, 17, joins the club from Las Palmas in a 5 million euro deal, while Trincao arrives for 31 million euros from Braga. Barça have already rejected a 60 million bid for Trincao.

Also due in next week are Carles Aleña, Oriol Busquets and Matheus Fernandes, all players that will not be part of the travelling squad should Barça make it to the final eight of the Champions League in Lisbon.

The idea is that all the players have some holiday time, but that they're not inactive for too long. For that reason, the new signings and those that have been out on loan will do individual training pending the outcome in the Champions League.

La Liga has pencilled in a start date of Sept. 12 for the new season but Barça could be granted more time off if they go far in Europe, while the start date could also be delayed as we await an outcome in the second division playoffs.
