Morale blow for Barca left back Junior Firpo
The former Betis player has not featured in La Liga and only played 29 minutes in the Champions League
Barcelona's 2-1 win over Dinamo Kiev was another disappointment for Junior Firpo. The left back is not happy this season, having not been used in La Liga and only playing 29 minutes in the Champions League. He was not used against Dinamo Kiev.
Junior hoped to start the game but Koeman opted for Jordi Alba as usual at left back, with Sergino Dest on the right. Alba has started four games in 11 days. Everyone has had their moment, basically, apart from Junior.
It's true he missed the start of the season with injury, that didn't help him get into Koeman's thoughts. However he thought he would get a game against Dinamo.
Junior and Barca worked to find him an exit this summer but it didn't happen. The winter window could see him leave.
