He is the team's top goalscorer, from midfield, and has only missed two matches

Few players have been more consistent for Barca B this season than Monchu, (Ramon Rodriguez Jimenez), who is the team's top goalscorer despite playing as interior or pivote. He's been a motor of the side this season and scored again in the play-off against Valladolid B. A fine volley that shows his finishing ability, and his ninth of the campaign.

Although the focus has been on Ansu Fati, Riqui Puig, Araujo and Collado, Monchu's presence is essential for the B team.

Born in Mallorca in 1999, he quickly moved to La Masia, joining in 2012 at 13 years old, the Infantil A side. Now at 20 he's one of the B team players that is most responsible, he looks out for the youngsters and new arrivals.

He made his Barca B debut at 18, in December 2017, having a confrontation with David Barral in a clash with Cadiz - one of the veterans of the division.

Moncho signed on until 2021 with a two-year optional addition and a 100m euro release clause. He has not debuted with the first team but Quique Setien has included him in a few squad lists. He stands out for his versatility. Some Premier League clubs have shown interest. His future may depend on the play-off results...
