Monchi on Koeman: "The crybaby's comments have had an effect"

The Sevilla sporting director wasn't impressed with some of the refereeing decisions on Saturday

Sevilla sporting director Monchi was caught on camera during Saturday's game calling Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman a crybaby.

Barça won 2-0 at Sevilla with goals from Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi, with Monchi's comments coming after referee Hernandez Hernandez booked the defender Diego Carlos.

It seems clear that he was referring to Koeman, who has 'complained' about some of the refereeing performances in Barça matches this season.

"The crybaby's comments have had an effect," Monchi was pictured screaming by the Movistar cameras. Koeman appeared to hear him, turning round and glancing at him sat in the satands.

Monchi didn't relax there. He was also seen screaming for a second yellow card for Lionel Messi at the end of the first half. "It's the second," he shouted.
