Jordi Mboula is a player who is being monitored by some of Europe's biggest clubs. Due to his age and his potential, he represents a great option for a lot of sides and his representatives have received some interesting offers, among them one from Borussia Dortmund.

However, the club who are currently most likely to snatch him away from Barcelona this summer is Monaco. SPORT have learned that a couple of months ago, Mboula's agents travelled to Montecarlo to meet with Antonio Cordon, Monaco's sporting director, and Vadim Vasilyev, the club's vice president.

In this meeting, the Ligue 1 club transmitted their interest in the player and presented a very interesting offer. Mboula would form part of the first team and would have the chance to play in a Monaco side which suits his characteristice. The meeting was fruitful for both sides, although nothing's been closed and the forward still has a year on his Barça deal. Further talks have been maintained in the last few weeks.

Mboula's release clause is three million euros, although Monaco would want to negotiate with the Blaugrana to find a better solution for all three parties. Pep Segura knows that to try and ward the French side off he must confirm a place in Barça B and offer a new contract to Mboula in line with his performances.

The season he is having has been impressive, above all in the UEFA Youth League, which he ended as top scorer with eight goals -- two of them fine individual efforts against Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg. His future is one of the most talked about subjects in the Juvenil A team. As things stand, it looks like that future may be away from Barcelona.
