Miralem Pjanic's strange situation at Barcelona
The Bosnian was one of the few summer signings but doesn't seem crucial to Koeman
Miralem Pjanic is living through a strange situation at Barcelona. Signed this season but seemingly not important for Ronald Koeman. He may well start against Ferencvaros on Wednesday bu that is because of the absences and the fact Barca are already through.
Pjanic has played 158 minutes in the Champions League, 19.5% of the total available, despite always being there and ready to feature. At Juventus he played 291 mins from 360 possible last season, 80.8% of the total.
Pjanic has already expressed his discontent with the few minutes he has been handed at Barca so far. Let’s see if he can get into Koeman’s good books tonight in Budapest.
